Once inhabited by the Kahuna members of Hawaiian society who served as advisors to Kualoa’s resident royalty, Kualoa Ranch includes a lush valley, natural streams and mountains with beautiful ocean views of the ancient fishpond. The Kualoa Ranch Jungle Tour, which is fully narrated, takes you via 6-wheel-drive jeep to a restored loi (Hawaiian taro patch planted along natural springs). Your one-hour back-country adventure rumbles along jungle trails, safely crosses desolate stream beds, and powers you up steep jungle hills as you sit in awe of the native wildlife and scenery that has been used in countless Hollywood movie scenes.
